The piece produced at Statens Værksteder in May 2021 is part of larger project “Meet Me at the Beach/ A Timeline Starting on the Surface”. In its total it has been shown at Galleri Susanne Ottesen, Ringsted Galleri and at the Jan Van Eyck Academy in Maastricht, NL.

For the stay at SVfK the piece “Machine pt. II” was developed in the metal workshop.
Thematically it is embedded in a larger context of the rest of the installation, where machine like objects perform possibly simple but repetitive movements, being an extension to the human body in its movements and actions. The machines of this series of work are based on simple mechanics as well as on human body movements.
The object “ Machine Pt. III” with its orange powder coated surface got welded at the metal workshop. The mechanical function was tested as well as the space that it could take in an expanded version. Furthermore a system of pipes and tubes was being built in the metal workshop. The galvanised pipes had to be cut and some threading be made.
