During his stay in the large photo studio, Erdal Bilici focused on the production of his first institutional solo exhibition in Denmark. It will take place at Kunsthal 44Møen, as well as a site-specific work to be installed in the public space of Tarup Davinde Natural Park in Funen.

The residency provided time and access to facilities that enabled me to develop new works across photography, video, and sculpture. My primary focus was on photography and 3D media, exploring the intersections of analog and digital processes. The opportunity to work in the large photo studio allowed me to work with large-format.
I concentrated on producing 8×10 positive transparencies, which will be presented at the exhibition in Møn. In addition to image production, I used my time to develop a conceptual sculptural piece, its visual and material language as a site-specific sculpture intended for the public setting of Tarup Davinde Natural Park.
Parallel to this workflow, I also worked on a 3D-generated animation video that will be included in the exhibition at Kunsthal 44Møen.
