Pedro Boese studied visual arts at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts, Netherlands and continued his studies at the Institute for Art in Context at the UdK Berlin. Since 2019 he is a lecturer at the workshop for intaglio printing at the Art Academy Weissensee Berlin.
The primary media he works with is painting and intaglio. Lately Boese combines etching with relief print.
Boese has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Germany and abroad. Of all his solo exhibitions „Franz Josef Altenburg & Pedro Boese“ at Emmanuel Walderdorff Galerie, Molsberg, 2023, „in a row I + II” at Galeria Belo-Galsterer, Lisbon, 2020, and „Malerei und Fassade” at the Deutscher Künstlerbund, Berlin, 2015, stand out. His works can be found in public collections such as the Kupferstichkabinett of the Staatliche Museen Berlin, the Graphic Collection of the Museum Folkwang, Essen and the DONG Collection, Copenhagen.
