Kitsum Cheng studied visual art at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, where she earned a BFA. In 2016 she graduated from Prof. Peter Fischli class at Städelschule.
Her work has been shown at MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst and Museum Angewandte Kunst, Frankfurt am Main, Vorwerk-Stif, Hamburg, Skulpturinstiut, Vienna, and Bangkok Biennial.
Cheng is interested in artifacts. She uses various sculptural strategies in her practice to question the production and circulation of remnants.
