Alexandra Noe is an American ceramic artist based in Copenhagen. Her practice explores humor, play, and absurdity through interactive sculpture.
Drawing on visual references ranging from commedia dell’arte, anime, and kinetic toys, she creates distorted, character-like forms that blur the boundaries between sculpture, prop, and machine.
Her works often incorporate simple mechanisms that invite viewers to touch, move and activate the sculptures, making participation an integral part of the work.
