The Factory of Art and Design,
Copenhagen Production and knowledge center for visual arts and design in Copenhagen. Houses more than 50 studios and different types of leases, networking, exhibitions, the Alternative Art Fair, the International Artist-In-Residency program (FAIR) and various dissemination activities.

Use the workshops for free, provided that you share knowledge and ideas with the FabLab network. Materials must be paid for. Each machine has a computer workstation.

70 m2 workshop for etching, lithography, linoleum, wood cut, and computer based graphics. Residency program. Access to the workshops through the board. Members of BKF can be admitted directly. Rates: 200 kr/year.

Center for ceramics, work and research. Guldagergaard offers housing, work place, technical assistance, a wide selection of equipment as well as larger electric, gas or wood fired kilns. Application deadlines: 15. February, 15. June, 15. August, 15. November.

Nakskov Metal Workshop, Nakskov
Workspace at CELF Lolland in the smith department with high ceilings with plenty of equipment, a crane and the possibility of computer control of the elements. There’s workshop assistance available and all work applies to safety regulations. Everyone who wants to work with iron as artistic expression can become a member. Membership costs 100 kr./year.

Formerly Møbelfabrikken. Ceramics and glass workshop plus rent of studio space for minimum 1 month at a time. The ceramics workshop is managed by the Ler//Ler cooperative. Access to the glass workshop can be arranged on a day-to-day basis.

The Graphic Workshop of Funen Island, Odense
Workshop and gallery for graphic arts. Requires membership of the FGV. Print facilities and showroom, and FGV functions as a free knowledge center.Graphic arts.

Bureau Detours is a group of people who produce new constructions for public space. They provide access to knowledge, networking and facilities for various productions, incl. wood. Institut for X is a sister cooperation: a grassroots network focusing on social interactions.

Godsbanen houses production of stage art, literature, and fine arts, as well as Huset and their workshops: Wood, metal, textile and screen printing, printing, sowing and leather workshops. Coming: Photography workshop. Deadline: 1. February (for the period 1. July – 31. December) and 1. August (1. January – 30. June).

Works on membership basis, but often lets in guests. Two testing presses for lithography, one lithography press (50 x 70 cm). At the workshop’s top-floor is an intaglio workshop – the press here can take sizes up to 120 x 240 cm.
