Congratulations on your residency at the Danish Art Workshops. We ask that you fill out the form below and submit it as confirmation that you accept the residency and our terms and conditions. We will use your personal information for invoicing materials, prints etc. you purchase through us.
Key and Deposit: You will be given a key and an alarm chip for a deposit of DKK 500. The amount must be paid by credit card upon delivery. We would like to point out that the key is personal and may not be lent to others. If you need more keys for an assistant or the like, send an e-mail to Birthe@svfk.dk. You are personally responsible for the keys provided. REMEMBER to hand in all your keys on your last day and get your deposit back.
Safety Requirements: Please note that we have updated the requirements for safety. This means that you must have completed a §17 course if you are going to weld, or that you must obtain a certificate to work with epoxy. See more about safety here
Introduction: On the first day you will be introduced to the facilities by the workshop consultant. Please note that you are expected to have the skills to work with the techniques you need. If this is not the case, you may need to hire a professional to assist you.
Communication: The commitment includes an obligation to help ensure that your project is described in words and images on svfk.dk. We help you do this in the way that best suits your work process. The purpose of the communication is to share knowledge about artistic work processes and to show the capacity of the house.
Exhibition Opportunity: Foyer is our exhibition space for projects created inhouse. It is a unique opportunity to showcase works that are not going directly to another exhibition and to invite colleagues, curators and art enthusiasts to enter into a dialogue about the works. You can read more about Foyer here
