The workshop is approx. 260 m2 with a ceiling height of approx. four meters, and has been divided into two separate rooms: One is for noisy activities (e.g. working with machinery); the other offers surfaces and free space for construction and reconstruction of large-scale items.
The workshop has a ceiling suspended crane with a lifting power of 1,000 kg. The ground clearance is 315 cm.
Access: double doors, freight lift (height 2 m, width 1.2 m, depth 2.4 m, diagonal 2.9 m)
The workshop is normally used by two to five resident users at a given time, so you should expect to share the use of workshop facilities with others. Use of the machinery is subject to agreement with the workshop supervisor – also in case you want to use the machines outside of normal work hours.
There are a number of specialized techniques that you will not be able to work with on the premises, but in most cases we will be able to refer you to private companies.
