Siren Elise Wilhelmsen from Norway won the Time to design 2009 award with her project Developing Time - Time Developing. Hans Jørgen Bruno Hansen of TA presented the award.

    Time to design -new talent award

    Need time to design?

    Time to design – new talent award was established in 2008 as a new and untraditional co-operation between The Danish Art Workshops (SVK), Normann Copenhagen, and The Danish Architectural Press and OeO. The purpose is to create a unique platform for design talents within the design business through a co-operation between the private and public sector – a platform that contributes to ones further professional career.


    The price includes three months residency at the Danish Art Workshops, career coaching, 50.000 DKK to cover material costs and two weeks exhibition at the Normann Copenhagen Flagship Store.

    SVK Artists, designers and restorers may apply for a short term or long term residency with the Danish Art Workshops (SVK) with a view to producing concrete projects. The workshops is an institution under the Danish Ministry of Culture.
