Can Old Dock Warehouse become a gathering place for art and design when DAC in 2016 gets new premises? A steering committee with representatives from SVK, BKF, CaKi, Danish Graphic, SNYK and Danish Crafts presently looking at the possibility of creating an international powerhouse.
Danish Architecture Centre moves to new premises in 2016. This will free about 3,500 m2 exhibition, office and café areas with SVK and Building Evaluation Centre as neighbors. A number of private and public actors, artists and industry organizations have expressed interest in forming a common international power center for art and design. The new center has provisionally been named Copenhagen Dock.
